How do you know who made a vintage wrought iron patio set?
I have a wrought iron patio set that seems to have been made in the 1950s or 1960s. How can I determine the manufacturer?

The majority of wrought iron has no permanent makers marks on it. Small stickers were usually used under a table top or on the back of a chair. Chances are that these are long gone. Some real die-hard iron collectors can identify manufactures by certain design elements, such as shape of a chair leg, these folks are not in abundance though, and even then, designs were copied by other manufactures and local makers. Probably close to impossible to say for sure. Just one of those things you ought to just enjoy for what it is and not get too hung up on who made it.
