    Thank you. I’m glad you have used some of the information in my videos to make your pond.
    It is good that the? cascade works well as that is sometimes the most difficult part to get right.

    Good evening from Brittany;

    That’s just to? inform you that I’ve finished my own pond with a cascade this week. I’ve found (of course) a lot of inspiration from your excellent and beautiful work;
    Yesterday, i’ve tested the cascade; it looks good and nice;
    My daughter Maïwenn is so happy and she told me to to thank you
    I need for this pond a pump and a filter because Maï wants to see fishes in next april (3 maxi);
    For my part, I started to put aquatics and edges plants

    have a good continuation!

    The materials will cost around 1.1K. I think this pond was 1.8K which included? labour.
    The list of materials can be found in the video description.
    Thanks for watching.

    How much would it cost, for a raised pond this size?? All building materials, underlay, liner, pump and filter.

    Yes, I’ve heard that some of those metal detecting folks make a pretty good and profitable hobby, foraging at Waikiki Beach! They find rings, bracelets, ear rings and watches. They? usually are seen detecting in the late afternoon and early mornings.

    Woah, man. You’re in Hawaii. If I had the money for the air fare I’d come over and build one free just to get a? week of sunshine (followed by a week metal detecting on the beaches – lol)

  14. Dennis Nakashima

    Great job! Can you? build me one?

  15. pondguru

    Should manage no? worries.

    I’ll pop down to a merchant see what i can get if not i wondered about setting some threaded rod into the concreate do you think this would take? the wait of water?

  17. pondguru

    Concrete foundations would be the best way to go, yes.
    They sections can? be fixed with proper fixings from builders merchant. The name of the fittings escapes me but they are long thick screws which don’t shear with lateral force like ordinary fixings can.

    Hi Richard
    Looks good mate.
    I’m wanting to do the samething but not on top of decking would you put the? sides on a concreate foundation. Also how would you fix the sides down to the ground?
