Building My Pond is a free community-based site that is intended to help educate hobbyists everything there is to know about the topic. At launch the site already includes podcast interviews from well known and accomplished experts within the industry.

When Garth Epp set out to create the ultimate hobbyist site, it wasn't enough to just give like-minded people a place to learn. He also wanted to create a place for anyone interested in the topic to share and collaborate. With BuildingMyPond.com he has done just that.
Site members can post to the pond forums to ask questions, and have those questions answered by more experienced ponders and even some industry experts. There is also a blog feature that allows anyone to create their own ponding journal and share their own experiences, successes and failures.
Experts will also benefit from this community. Industry experts can gain exposure for their own products / services, and share their expertise by taking part in interviews and answering questions for people who just want to know the right way to accomplish a task.
This new site really is expected to become the place to go for anyone interested in ponds. It will be interesting to watch as Garth Epp and his site change the way people communicate on topics related to ponds.
