Natural Technologies Inc. has announced the formation of the Organic Land Care Institute. The institute will provide education and training for natural, organic systems of land care and instruct landscape professionals on how to manage properties to reduce pollution and promote conservation of resources.

The Institute will feature seminars taught by leading experts in their field. One example is a recent collaboration with Charles "Chip" Osborne, Jr., founder and President of Osborne Organics, LLC. Chip has worked for over 15 years to create safe, sustainable athletic fields and landscapes.

Chip has 35 years experience as a professional horticulturist and believes there is a safer way to grow plants. His study of conventional and organic soil science practices and hands-on experimentation led him to become one of the country's leading experts on organic lawn care.

Along the path to greening his own industry practices, Chip became a regular lecturer for the Northeast Organic Farming Association, a board member of Beyond Pesticides, Chairman of the Marblehead, Massachusetts' Recreation and Parks Department, and speaker nationwide on the topic of turf management for athletic fields and landscapes. Chip will now also help conduct training sessions for NTIs network of Bee-Safe Sustainable Land Care Dealers.

Chip states: I am excited about the possibility of working with NTI. It has long been my belief that widespread adoption of natural turf management practices has been limited by the lack of education available for alternative approaches. The Organic Land Care Institute and Natural Technologies are attempting to bridge this gap.

The Bee-Safe Dealer Network will allow landscape professionals the opportunity to expand their business by offering sustainable solutions to the growing concerns of the environmental damage and health safety issues caused by use of harmful synthetic chemical fertilizers and toxic pesticides.

Also, NTI offers systems to manage properties to reduce pollution and promote conservation of resources. Dealers will receive access to NTIs unique, organic lawn management product technology and patent-pending application system that eliminates the need for synthetic chemicals and pesticides. Instructors will teach the importance of adding beneficial microbes into the soil web.

Dealers will also get updated information on pesticide laws and regulations and learn the use of natural weed and pest control alternatives. This, along with the intensive training program and continued technical support, allows dealers to offer their customers a natural, organic alternative to manage properties, and the chance to share in the mission of creating a safer environment.

Making the environment safer one property at a time is the mission of Natural Technologies Inc., a New Hampshire based company specializing in sustainable property management and natural lawn and garden solutions. NTI is comprised of three divisions which promote sustainable and environment friendly land and water care.

????Fire Belly? Organics, a unique six-step, natural, organic lawn care program.
????Bee-Safe Sustainable Land Care, a dealer network of professional land care providers.
????Nature-Clear, a line of natural pond care products formulated to help restore ecological equilibrium in ponds & water gardens.

Headquartered in New Hampshire, Natural Technologies Inc. strives to be a leader in research on natural and organic products. Lou LaMarca, President and CEO of NTI states: We have a mission to provide high performance alternatives that will eliminate the use of dangerous pesticides and synthetic chemical fertilizers. We use innovative technology to make progress towards saving the environment and creating a healthier world for people and their children.
